Many thanks to Abduzeedo and their Friday Fresh Free Fonts feature, in which this week they feature a handful of great fonts, particularly my favorites Lane and New Athena Unicode. I am personally a fan of great typography, and as a designer I am always looking for fresh new fonts to use in my projects, and Abduzeedo’s FFFF is a great place to find some. I’m somewhat of a penny-pincher, so I avoid paying for fonts whenever possible. As such, free resources such as Lane and New Athena are very satisfying finds and really help to improve the overall quality of the openly available universal font libraries.
