I’d like to spotlight the website of Nottingham, UK designer Simon Collison, Colly.com. It is his personal website, with a full journal, biography, and writings on various design-related topics, and it is all executed in a very unique way. In his article, Redesigning the undesigned, Simon (or Colly, as he is known) talks about the design of his site and his inspiration in developing the look and feel, or his personal brand. I find his style of writing to be a wonderful counterpart to the design and image selection that defines his overall theme, and it is truly something to be admired in my opinion.

He’s a talented writer and designer. He really does exude a level of art-awareness that is present in his designs that pull from classic text/art, yet presented in a fresh and exciting way.
