I’ve worked up some changes to the site recently, which I’ve implemented this morning, which include a new blog column, with recent post links and additional categories, as well as a larger listing of work samples on the front page. I’ve been using this same ‘dark wood’ theme that I created from scratch for about a year now, but I didn’t create it with a blog, as I wanted it to focus on my work samples and academic projects to spotlight my design and branding experience. I started testing out some changes to this theme (which I originally named Infinity) which has led me to this new updated version (Infinity X: Bomberfish) which you can see live as of today.
I am looking forward to getting back into the blogosphere and reimplementing the Designer Toolbox feature that I had on the version of my site prior to Infinity, before I had developed a significant portfolio element. I have been fairly active on Twitter lately and have found lots of design content through it that I would like to start sharing here, on my blog. I can’t wait to start posting new and exciting things. Here’s to the future!
